| Most societies have certain mores that are unspoken rules; humanity itself even has such conventions, grilled subconsciously into our minds for our own safety. Don't go out alone at night. Avoid getting wet when it's cold. Don't pick fights with those stronger than you...okay, some of us missed the boat on the last one, but the point still stands. Society's rules tend to be more variable, though they apply to most aspects of life - including sex. In fact, bending the rules on what's considered acceptable in romance and sexual encounters can lead to anything from ostracization to death, depending on the time and culture. So, play it close to the chest if you're going to do a big, big, big t a b o o. Is it worth the risk? How to Play- Comment with your character and preferences. Be sure to include what you want and what you DON'T WANT. Blank comments are fine; info is even better! ( trigger warning ) |

There is a garden, and it has always been there, and it has always been waiting for somebody.
The first part is all cottage flowers and crooked little paths, herbs growing wherever they'll fit, fruit trees heavy with something ripe, butterflies, warm grass, and a greenhouse tucked off to one side. There's a fountain somewhere beyond the lawn, plenty of shade, and more than enough places to sit.
Further in, the hedges get taller.
The paths narrow. Roses climb over walls and archways until they're everywhere, and somewhere past all that green is a maze.
Some parts of the garden are nicer than others. Gardens are like that. So are the things that keep them.
Come in. Have a strawberry. Every gate is easier to enter than to leave, but you knew that.
Something has already happened. Nobodyβs going to explain it.
Leave one sentence and let everybody else deal with the implications.
β Comment with your character, prefs, and one sentence with no context.
β Tag around.
Sometimes, the need to stay close outweighs any notion of personal space. A single hand can be enough, a lifeline in the chaos. Or maybe it takes more: an arm wrapped tight around a waist, fingers tangled in a sleeve, both hands gripping as if letting go would mean losing everything.
Whatever comes next, letting go is unthinkable.

![]() WHEN THIS IS OVER |
|
The world is falling apart around you, or maybe it already has, and you're just standing in what's left. But you have to eat dinner, too. You still have to, just, live. There are beds to offer. Spare keys pressed into open palms. Promises about breakfast tomorrow. Quiet talk about where to go next while fire burns itself to ash around you. Dishes in the sink. Someone's jacket over a chair. A door left unlocked for whoever comes home last. Do you make plans for a future you're not sure is coming? Do you say when instead of if? ...maybe there is a house by the sea. When this is over, there could be room for one more person in it. HOW TO PLAY β’ Post with your character and preferences. β’ Roll or pick a prompt, or bring your own. β’ Thread it out. β’ Trouble can still be happening. Dinner still needs making. ( prompts ) |
