For some people, marriage is an ambition they've had since childhood. Your character may have already planned the wedding, right down to the flowers.
They could also be perfectly content with the idea of spending their life with somebody without ever getting married. Maybe they consider marriage a practical arrangement, a sacred commitment, an outdated tradition, or something that simply doesn't fit the life they want.
Does your character want to get married someday? If the right person proposed, would their answer be yes?
